Our Physical World is an Atomic Erector Set !!!

We can take materials apart, ...

The Science of Hydroponics is a good way to see this "Erector Set" principle in action.

Here, we are assembling an "erector set of atoms" to promote biological life Processes.

    How Vitamins were Discovered

Vitamins are made from Atoms too.

When a Grain is "De-Germed", The Germ is where the plant's assembly line is located.
The place where Atoms are hooked together.
Here is where most B Vitamins are found.  This is, what is Removed.
Most Vitamins and Trace Elements are in the Germ.

The rest of the seed is the "fuel tank" for the new plant.
It is much like the Space Shuttle, the fuel tanks drop off when empty.

Grains are de-germed because the seed's oils turn rancid upon exposure to oxygen, and take on a bad taste. De-germed flower has a longer shelf life.

We Need Good Germs, in All Parts of Our Lives.

    Understanding and Using  "Colloidal Activity"
    — "Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers"  —  "A Huge Atomic Juggling Act" —

    —  Adsorption and Desorption  —
Electrical Balance of Cations and Anions

Colloidals act as caches, for storing atoms, for the root zone solution.
Problem — How do you keep 25 to 30 salts in solution and at a constant concentration, all at the same time?

Electricity and Magnetism make the Atomic World Go Around.

Both, in your Soil, and Hydroculture Solution,
Electricity Controls the Action, provides the Glue.

    —   Mother Nature's Atomic Anti-Collision System   —

Have you ever wondered why those ever moving, hyperactive atoms don't just crash into each other and form a big ball?   Why your hydroculture salts stay in solution – sometimes and not others?   Why very weak and very strong solution concentrations both tend to lose salts? Why that white stuff collects on your glassware?

Whether a quantity of clay, added to a liter of distilled water containing mineral salts, will form an adhesive mass or disperse into trillions of tiny particles, each remaining separate and discrete, depends almost entirely on the electrical properties of the system. Like electrical charges repel each other, and the strength of this electric force controls many of the factors of chemistry.

It is this electric force that keeps atoms and molecules from colliding with each other, and it is this electric force that needs to be overcome when you are endeavoring to hook atoms together to form new advanced materials.

Atoms are very much like miniature solar systems, with their electrons in orbits similar to planets and comets. The electrons are moving so fast, that only a blur is seen by our test instruments, and this blurry area where the electrons "hang out" is called the Electron Cloud, sometimes referred to as the atom's "Virtual Electron Shell".

How these shells interact with each other can be observed with the tools used in the field of Colloidal Science. Understanding how to use these concepts, allows us to create a root environment for plants where the nutrient salts stay in solution at the right concentration.

    Rots and Blights
Bacillus Carotovorus - eating a Cauliflower.

An opportunistic bacteria taking advantage of the cavity created as a result of a Boron Deficiency.

Click for more info. It has been widely observed, that plants most always show signs of stress, before the onset of Blights or Rots.

Webster's New World Dictionary defines Blights as — any atmospheric or soil condition, parasite, or insect that kills, withers, or checks the growth of plants.
    — any of several plants diseases, as rust, mildew, or smut.

Left; a parasitic bacterium has found an ideal place to call home.

The stem of a Cauliflower Plant has developed a hollow center, as a result of stressful growth conditions. Bacillus Carotovorus has taken advantage of this.

Use of a Foliage Spray to correct for deficient conditions is recommended.

It takes about 10 days to observe the results from the application.

    Hydroponic Spread Sheet

I developed this spread sheet, to help me do the math, for the more than 22 different salts, that are needed to make the water of life. It is not a complete product, nor does it cover all possibilities. It is easy for you to make additions of your own to the spread sheet.

Here is the 123 spreadsheet (below) that I wrote a decade ago.   It will sum the mineral components, adjust solution concentrations, estimate cost, etc.

It is a simple matter to change items to suit your special needs.

If you are a serious grower, or researcher ...
you should find this spread sheet useful in your work.

    Download the "123" Spread Sheet
    Works well with Excel

    Special Note:

Commercial preparations of plant food have a somewhat misleading labeling system.

It is often said that the three main numbers listed is the amount of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium in the product.   This is NOT the case.   You must real the label carefully.

If you read carefully, you will find that the middle number is the percentage of Phosphate – NOT Phosphorus – expressed as P2O5.   This means that you need to multiply the number by 0.436 to obtain the actual amount of Phosphorus present in the product.   Therefore, if the middle number is 30, the actual amount of Phosphorus is only 13.08%.

Also, you will find that the Last number is the percentage of Soluble Potash – NOT Potassium – expressed as K2O.   This means that you need to multiply the number by 0.83 to obtain the actual amount of Potassium present in the product.   Therefore, if the middle number is 15, the actual amount of Potassium is only 12.45%.

    Today's Challange for Advancement

My life seemed simple, and my Hydroponic projects under control before a retired Los Alamos advanced material scientist, whom I had worked for, started feeding me information about research done by a cotton farmer — David Hudson.  David Hudson's 8.7 million dollar study was initiated by unexplained explosions, that occurred in his farm soil-samples, that he was preparing for analysis.

Working with universities and private professionals, he discovered that atoms that are members of the Transition Group of Elements can exist independently of other atoms. This means that these Mono-atomic Atoms are not chemically bonded to any other atom.

Atoms, when in the Mono-atomic State, exhibit different properties than they do when clustered into metallic units. These Mono-atomic atoms manifest a different "finger print" to analytical equipment — one for which, most are not calibrated. ( Ok, so here is problem number one. ) The good news is that tests can be done — expensive tests.

8.7 million dollars buys a lot of tests, and Hudson found large quantities of mono–atomic elements in the soil of his farm.

    • 6–8 oz. per ton of Palladium   ( 187.5–250 ppm )
    • 12–13 oz. per ton of Platinum   ( 375–406.25 ppm )
    • 10–12 oz. per ton of Gold   ( 312.5–375 ppm )
    • 150 oz. per ton of Osmium   ( 4,687.5 ppm )
    • 250 oz. per ton of Ruthenium   ( 7,812.5 ppm )
    • 600 oz. per ton of Iridium   ( 18,750 ppm )
    • 1,200 oz. per ton of Rhodium   ( 37,500 parts per million )

Since plants contain some of all the elements that are present in the soil in which they are grown, we need to learn the role these elements have in our biology. ( Ok, so here is our next challenge. )

These tests only measured Rhodium and Iridium.

    • 4 oz. Carrot Juice  —  Rhodium: 127 milligrams  ( aprox. 1,133 ppm ) — Iridium: "small amounts"
    • 4 oz. Concord Grape Juice  —  Rhodium: 127 mg — Iridium: 48 mg  ( 429 ppm )
    • 4 oz. Essiac tea  —  Rhodium: 12 mg — Iridium: 120 mg  ( 1,071 ppm )
    • 1 oz. Aloe vera Gel  —  Rhodium: 60 mg — Iridium: 10 mg

Compare these numbers to a generic hydroculture solution.
Note:  One part per million of the essential element Boron, in a hydroculture solution, is Toxic to plants.
    ]

Hudson focused on Gold, Rhodium and Iridium and learned that these, like all essential elements, are concentrated from the soil when present, by many plants, to varying degrees. And, like essential elements, their quantities vary greatly from location to location, but are generally everywhere to some extent.

Hudson also found, Mono-atomic Rhodium and Iridium in pig and cow brains at a rate of about 5% of the brain's dry weight matter — This suggests that these elements have a very important function, at least in higher mammals.

David Hudson is a good story teller. I tell you this, because Dr. John V. Milewski also sent me a video tape of one of Hudson's talks. The audio portion alone is great, and makes a good talk radio presentation. I have added links that help expand the story. This is really worth the time to go through carefully. There are many serious implications for hydroculture in this material.

So here is the story, told by a country boy cotton farmer, of a Grand Science Adventure of Discovery !!!

    — Tommy Cichanowski —

[ I also, have found other essential atoms, that need to be added to my information base.
At this time there seems to be about 60 different atoms required for our bio-system.]

    BIOlogical TRANSmutations
A radical concept comes of age.

Many scientists state that plants and animals can't produce the minerals that they need for good health in their bodies – minerals must come from an outside source, they say.   This is not entirely true.   As our scientific test equipment becomes ever more sophisticated we are observing a very interesting and important mechanism at work.

We are observing a "Biological Transmutation Process" occurring at least in the cases of the more important elements – those that are most critical for the basic life processes.

One process controls the pH in our body.   Another transmutes silicon into calcium – an element that is very hard for bio-organisms to assimilate.   Providing the body with "organic silicon" instead of calcium can speed up bone healing and can readily repair arthritic joints.

One of the most important relationships in body chemistry is the sodium to potassium ratio, and there is a transmutation process that regulates this.

There is even an endothermic transmutation process that regulates body temperature in very hot climates allowing a person to live and work without becoming totally dehydrated.   It does appear that sweating alone is incapable of cooling the body sufficiently in the desert.   Just look at how long the hard working camel can go without water and be amazed.

And, since plants need almost as much magnesium as they do phosphorus, it explains why magnesium is never included in plant foods or applied to the soil by farmers and yet we almost never see a magnesium deficiency in plants.

Open your mind to "new" amazing possibilities and see if you agree that the research studies presented by this author are strong enough for us to demand from our research community that more studies be performed.
