Vanadyl Sulfate: VOSO4 • 2H2O; mol. wt. 199.05. Anhydrous salt 81.90%, H2O 18.10%, V 25.60%, SO4 48.26%.

Blue, cryst. powder. Soluble in water.

Use: As mordant in dyeing and printing textiles; manuf. colored glass; for blue and green glazes on pottery. Commercially available.
