And how can I say I am the Higher Self and still be humble? How can I be meek and humble in my power and realization?

Because to be the Self, the ego–the sense of Self–the Consciousness –must be identified with and surrendered to the Higher Self. One is humble in the surrender to the Self and one is powerful in the affirmation of Being the powerful, blissful, loving strong, wise, ever–energy Self.

One is humble in the sense that whatever one is, all are. One can never be above or higher than another. all are the same and yet different expressions of the one energy. With realization of the Self comes great power and strength and wisdom, but the wisdom and love of the Self have not been realized if one does not realize that whatever one is, all are. One water flows through the earth's many shapes and forms–and yet each lake, river, ocean is unique.

One is humble in the Self also in the realization that to be the Self is man's natural state of consciousness. There is nothing grand and glorious about it... one just is Being the Self–what one is 1 reality. Before realization one was living in a false and inaccurate state of consciousness; now one knows the truth of his Being. The flower is; the sun shines; you are naturally eternal Bliss Consciousness Being.

One is also humble in the realization that Being is endless unfoldment. As God endlessly unfolds into us, extensions of his being, we endlessly fold back into God. There is always more to be realized. And the tools for the Self's expression have to be completely purified (the mind and body and emotions) so that each body is a pure channel for the Self's expression.

And yet it is accurate to say with full confidence and power: "I am the Higher Self–the Atman–the God consciousness" because the ego has surrendered to the Self within; one is conscious of being God conscious and has merged with that Power, so you are indeed that Glorious God Self within. Also, you are always in reality one with that God Self, even if you have not realized the Self; it is only that your sense of ego or your consciousness is not always conscious of being surrendered to the Higher Self within and thus is not always a constant expression of Self. When you have realized constant identification with Self, it would be inaccurate not to say you are the higher Self-Atman. And yet you must always be aware that the body, mind and emotions may not be completely purified; the Budhi, the Higher Intelligence, has taken over and will continue the purification; the shakti energy is flowing through you and will continue the purification.

The consciousness became absorbed in outer consciousness, identifying with many false outer expressions; now the consciousness is sucked back in and absorbed in Atman, the Christ Consciousness, consciousness of the Higher Self. Your field of consciousness is like a dome that was sucked in the opposite direction and has returned to the original position.

When this happens, nothing will ever look or be the same for you. You are the most humble and the most High in Self. Your ego is consciously bowed down to the God Self within and as you bow you become that to which you are surrendered.
