CLOD BUSTER is a concentrated highly decomposed organic humus, used in products manufactured by AGRONICS. It is a 100 percent organic, natural soil conditioner that is mined in New Mexico.
CLOD BUSTER is 100% natural ! It is organic in the formal chemist's definition (contains carbon) and the organic grower's definition (from life).

How Does CLOD BUSTER Work ?
As a soil conditioner, CLOD BUSTER's humic acids make nutrients in the soil available to the plant's roots. It's fine particles of Colloidal Organic Matter go between the molecules in the soil, breaking up the nutrients and releasing them as more accessible to the plant.
CLOD BUSTER thereby, softens and granulates heavy soils.

What Does CLOD BUSTER Do ?

Increases water and root soil pentration
Improves both acidic and alkaline soils
Released captured ("Bound") soil nutrients
Promotes the return of Earth Worms to the soil
Improves both the nutritional value and taste of crops

Suggestions for Using CLOD BUSTER

Use in potting soil: Good results are obtained by using 2% up to about 10% of total mix of CLOD BUSTER in potting soil for household and nursery plants.
Gardens: Apply at a rate of 50 lbs per 750 square feet. Mix into the top 2—6 inches of soil. For transplants, put about a cupful around each plant when transplanting.
Turf: An application of 50 lbs per 1,000 square feet will soften hard soil.

Established Lawns Aerate if possible, and apread from 5 to 10 pounds per 100 square feet. Water well.
New Lawns For compacted soils, alkali or salt soils, mix up to 10 pounds per 100 square feet into top four inches of soil as far in advance of seeding as possible. Water well and often to speed conditioning and acidulating actions.
Shrubs and Large Perennials Spread as above to fit soil type.
Trees Mix from 5 to 10 pounds of CLOD BUSTER thoroughly. Spread 1 pound for each 1 inch diameter of tree trunk evenly over soil surface under tree limbs, and work into soil if possible. Soak well. (A one-pound coffee can holds approximately 2½ pounds of CLOD BUSTER.)
Gardens Apply from 5 to 10 pounds per 100 square feet. Dig in well as far in advance of planting as possible. Use half the orginal application each subsequent year for gardens.
Composting Spread thinly over each layer of organic material as compost pile is built at a rate of 50 pounds of CLOD BUSTER per ton of organics. Providing raw organic matter to soils will speed and increase the actions of CLOD BUSTER. The use of powered phosphate rock and of unrefined potash when indicated, is recommended.
